Corfe Class is our wonderful, vibrant and busy Reception and Year 1 classroom.
We place a strong emphasis on learning through play and on helping our children develop a love of learning right from the start.
In line with our school's core values, we support the children's social and emotional well-being by helping them learn how to respect others, be courageous and try new things, show kindness to their friends and teachers and be inclusive of everyone's needs.
We follow the Little Wandle Phonics Programme to support early reading and writing skills, we use Mastery and White Rose Maths to ensure they develop a lifelong love of all things math's related and we use Tapestry to share updates and celebrate the children's learning and achievements with parents and carers.
Working closely with parents and carers to ensure that our children have the best possible start to their educational journey is at the heart of our vision.
