On 20th June, Corfe Class enjoyed a wonderful day out at Downbarn Farm. The visit gave the children a first-hand opportunity to explore life on a working farm.
The children were welcomed by the farmers, who guided them around the farm and explained the daily routines involved in caring for and milking the cows.
It was a fantastic chance for the class to connect what they have been learning in school with real-life experiences. The children asked brilliant questions and showed great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the trip.
A big thank you to everyone at Downbarn Farm for making us feel so welcome, and to the staff and volunteers who helped make the visit such a success.
