Ofsted Report

We are delighted to share that following our most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2022, Parrett & Axe Church of England VA Primary School was judged to be a “Good” school.

The inspectors recognised the strong sense of community at Parrett & Axe, the commitment of our staff, and the positive attitudes of our pupils. They highlighted the school’s caring and inclusive ethos, the quality of teaching and learning, and the way we help children to flourish both academically and personally.

We are very proud of this outcome and of the hard work, dedication, and teamwork shown by our children, staff, governors, parents, and the wider community.

SIAMS Report

As a Church of England school, we are regularly inspected through the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) process. This inspection focuses on the distinctiveness and effectiveness of our Christian vision and how it shapes the life of our school community.

We are delighted to share that our most recent SIAMS inspection recognised the many strengths of Parrett & Axe. Inspectors highlighted the way our Christian values are lived out daily, the strong sense of belonging and care across the school, and the way we nurture every child to develop academically, spiritually, and personally.

The report reflects the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the commitment of our pupils to making our school a warm, welcoming and flourishing community.
