F.A.C.E
F.A.C.E. (Families, Advice, Community, Education) is an online parenting-advice and family support membership service. It helps schools partner with parents by giving access to expert advice, resources, and workshops / webinars which promote strong home-school relationships, child wellbeing, and family resilience.
Why Parrett & Axe are Members
At Parrett & Axe CE VA Primary, we believe that a child’s education goes beyond the classroom. As part of our commitment to supporting our pupils and their families, we have signed up to F.A.C.E. because:
-
It gives families quick access to trusted support on issues such as behaviour, wellbeing, mental health, and safeguarding.
-
It enhances the support network for parents/carers, helping them to feel more confident in their role.
-
It aligns with our vision of creating a caring, safe, and supportive environment, where children are unique and families are partners in learning.
-
It complements our existing wellbeing programmes (e.g. PSHE / pastoral support) by offering additional external expertise.
How F.A.C.E. Services Benefit Our Community
When you or your child need help or guidance, F.A.C.E. provides:

Resources & Toolkits | Printables, videos, guides to help at home (e.g. social/emotional learning, behaviour charts) |
Confidential Support | Safe spaces to ask questions, seek help, or be directed to further help if needed |
How We Use F.A.C.E. at Our School
-
We share information about F.A.C.E. membership with parents every year so that everyone is aware of what’s available.
-
When pupils are going through challenging times (e.g. transitions, emotional difficulties), staff may signpost parents/carers to relevant F.A.C.E. resources.
-
Workshops/webinars are promoted via newsletters, our school website, and through parent evenings.
-
Feedback is encouraged: if there are particular areas parents would like support in, we try to request or organise sessions to match those needs.
