At Parrett and Axe CE VA Primary School, we are committed to delivering consistently high-quality science teaching from entry to exit. Our carefully sequenced, skills-based curriculum is designed to ensure that pupils build securely on prior knowledge, making clear and sustained progress throughout their primary education.

We provide a broad range of opportunities for pupils to develop scientific knowledge and understanding through practical investigation, enquiry, and research. This approach enables pupils to think critically, apply scientific concepts confidently, and develop the skills needed to work scientifically. By the end of Key Stage 2, all pupils are equipped with a secure foundation in scientific knowledge, curiosity, and enquiry skills, preparing them for the next stage of their education.
