Parrett & Axe Achieves Platinum School Games Mark Award!

We are delighted to announce that Parrett & Axe CE VA Primary School has been awarded the prestigious Platinum School Games Mark!

The School Games Mark recognises schools for their commitment to providing high-quality physical education, school sport and physical activity opportunities for all children. Achieving Platinum status is a fantastic accomplishment and reflects the hard work and dedication of our pupils, staff and wider school community.

At Parrett & Axe, we believe that sport and physical activity play an important role in helping children to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude towards being active. Throughout the school year, our pupils have had the opportunity to take part in a wide range of sporting activities, competitions, festivals and clubs.

Our children have represented the school at a variety of events, competing alongside other local schools and, most importantly, demonstrating our school values of Respect, Courage, Kindness and Equality.

We are particularly proud of the opportunities we provide for children of all abilities to get involved. Whether competing in a team, trying a new sport, developing skills during PE lessons or simply enjoying being active with friends, we want every child to find something they enjoy.

This award would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and commitment of our pupils and staff. A special thank you goes to everyone who has helped organise and support our sporting opportunities throughout the year.
